PURL or "Personal URL" is a personalized web page address that usually contains the first and last name of a prospect, or other type of personalization (e.g. target group, location, etc.) With our PURL landing pages, not only can you personalize the web address, you can also personalize the entire web page and thank you page with your prospects first & last name, along with the day of the week and today's date (which updates automatically). PURLs and personalized pages have shown to dramtically increase response rates and shows you who is responding to your offer in real-time, so you can follow-up immediately (even while they're still on your page).

Hosting is included with all our subscription plans. There are no extra costs for hosting & maintenance.

A standard Personalized URL would look something like: iPodiums.net/PP/00/username/p001/John_Doe. (First & last names are separated by an underscore [ _ ] or a period [ . ]). Instead, we recommend you use your own exclusive domain name, so you can brand yourself and look more professional, which can look something like MyDomain.com/John_Doe.

PLEASE NOTE: To work as Personal URLs, domain services must offer forwarding with the ability to pass sub-directories. Some domain providers will not work with PURLs (i.e., MyDomainTags, GoDaddy, etc.) However, we can register your own chosen domain names for you and set up the correct forwarding for an extra cost of only $20/year per domain.

Yes, most auto-responders let you personalize emails with first and last name variables, like "Hi {first-name)." To include a Personal URL within your email blast, simply add the auto-responder variables into your Personal URL link. For example, your links would look something like www.MyDomain.com/{first-name}_{last-name}. When the email is sent out to your list, the variables will be replaced by each of your recipients first and last names. This way, each person on your list will see their own PURL like: www.MyDomain.com/Jane_Doe, www.MyDomain.com/John_Smith, etc.

No problem. Each iPodiums landing page builder has the ability to add in an opt-in form so you can create your own lead capture page (aka, Squeeze Page). Additionally, you can copy & paste in your own auto-responder form code into your page so you can capture leads into your auto-responder.

PLEASE NOTE: If you want to create a lead capture page along with a PURL page, you should choose the "Pro" or "Premium" plan, since the "Economy" plan only provides one page builder. Having multiple landing pages will let you build a lead capture page, in addition to several PURL pages that you can use for different campaign promotions.
